Salt Water Rinse :

The most effective and simple way to treat a tooth pain is to rinsing your mouth with salt water. Because it helps to reduce inflammation and pain. For this, mix 1tspn of salt with 1cup of warm water. Rinse your mouth with this for about 30 seconds and then spit it out.

Use Cold Compress :

Holding cold compress to your cheek during tooth ache helps to reduce inflammation and pain. You can make it by wrapping some ice cubes in a towel and hold it against your cheek for some minutes.

Cloves :

Cloves have anti-bacterial and pain relieving properties. Place a whole clove on the teeth where you have pain and bite it down gently.

Garlic :

Allicin content present in garlic has anti-bacterial and pain relieving properties. Mix minced garlic with a little bit of salt and then apply the mixture to the affected area.

Onion :

Anti-bacterial properties in onion can kill germs and there by reduces the pain. So place a slice of onion in the affected area.

Mouth Wash with Guava Leaves :

Guava leaves have anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that can heal wounds and it also promotes quick and short-term relief from tooth pain. You can either chew it or add some crushed guava leaves and a pinch of salt in boiling water and use it as a mouth wash.
