Home Remedies for Ascites

  • Garlic Juice – Utilise a garlic press to press the juice from the chopped garlic. On an empty stomach, consume half a spoonful of garlic juice.
  • Castor Oil – Castor oil should be used to soak the flannel or undyed wool in the container. Make sure the oil has completely covered it, but not dripped. Placing the pack there and covering it with plastic will help. For 45 to an hour, keep the hot water bottle affixed to the pack. Wash the area after removing the pack.
  • Milk Thristle – Pour a cup of boiling water over one to two teaspoons of milk thistle. Give it five to ten minutes to steep. Drink the tea after straining it.
  • Onions – Include onions in your daily diet as it helps in getting rid of the fluid build-up.
  • Bitter Gourd – Remove the seeds from the bitter gourd and peel it. It should be chopped up and then ground into a paste. From this paste, squeeze the juice. Drink the bitter gourd juice after diluting it by around 30ml with water.
  • Epsom Salt – Mix well after adding the Epsom salt to the water. Spend 15 to 20 minutes soaking your feet in this water.
